How do I change my profile information?

It is your responsibility to keep the information in your profile current.  In particular, you should ensure that your e-mail address is valid at all times. You can alter any of the fields in your profile, except your username. Once you have chosen your username, it is registered permanently in the forum.  In extreme circumstances, you may request to change your username through the administrator.  

After logging into a forum, the profile button will appear in the Main Navigation bar (see Figure).

Click on the profile button and the profile window will appear.  You will see all the information that you had entered during the Join process.  Make any necessary changes and click on the “Update Profile” button to proceed with the update.  If you change your e-mail address, a new login password will be sent to the updated e-mail address.

You can also manage personal options if these options have been enabled by the Administrator .  Personal options are additional features that you as a user can enable, disable or modify.  To access these personal options, go to your profile by clicking on the profile button and then selecting the personal options tab (see Figure).
