Unable to locate startup entries
A program is starting up with your windows system, but does not have a startup entry in the run, runonce, or start up folder locations.
Cause of the Problem:
Usually spyware will place it self in odd startup locations that are not documented, and in some cases legitimate software does this as well.
Check the following registry locations for the programs that are starting up:
- HKEYLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\System
Related Programs and Devices:
, Windows 2000
, Windows Vista
