You receive a dialog box asking for a user name and password when navigating away from a word document

Problem Description:

If you open up a Microsoft Word 2007 or 2003 document from a website, and then navigate away from the document (back button, click a link, different website, or close the browser); You get prompted to login.

Cause of the Problem:

Microsoft Word is attempting to write the document to it's "Most Recently Used" files list. In it's attempt to do this Microsoft word tests it's ability to read AND write back to the document. When anonymous write permission fails it then prompts you for the user name and password.
