Unknown Device shows up in Device Manager

Problem Description:

"Unknown Device" with Device instance ID " ACPI\WEC0518\4&61F3B4B&0 " shows up in Device manager, but all drivers are installed.



Cause of the Problem:

This device is a WinBond SD Card Reader, and sometimes with a certain combination of hardware and software does not always show up as being installed.

Resolution/Fix:

Installing the correct driver for your system will resolve the issue.

This is most common on HP/Compaq systems, as other systems are discovered to have this issue links for those will be posted here.
